Thien Nguyen

Thien Nguyen comes from a chopsticks-and-rice country, Vietnam. He arrived in Australia in 1998 to pursue academic and religious training. After being ordained a priest in the Society of the Divine Word in 2004, he has been involved in different ministries such as parish work, interreligious dialogue and cross-cultural activities. At the present he is undertaking further studies in the field of Comparative Theology of Religion. On the weekends he takes Mass supplies in parishes and religious centers. His motto is “I come to serve, not to be served”, and his major hobby is photography.
