TTN 3586 Larry Nemer 400Larry Nemer, a Divine Word Missionary, has taught Church History and Mission Studies for fifty years in the United States, Philippines, Vietnam, England and Australia.  He did his studies after ordination at the Gregorian University in Rome, The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and Cambridge University, UK.  After teaching at theological schools in the United States for thirty years he came to Australia in 1991.  In addition to his lecturing, he has served as President of the Missionary Institute London for six years and Acting President of Yarra Theological Union, Box Hill, for one year.  He retired from lecturing at the end of 2012 as Lector Emeritus and is now spending his time in reading, researching, writing, and supervising graduate students.
